Well, we had a really nice July 4th weekend. It started on Friday, July 2nd. We all had to work, but Kamden had his little party and Fourth of July parade at school. The teachers painted stars on all the kids faces for the parade, but when they got to Kamden he wanted his face painted like a tiger. (Of course he had to be the difficult one). His teacher was like "I don't know how to paint a tiger," so he got a red nose and whiskers. They had tons of JUNK at the party but the kids are always overwhelmed and thankfully he hardly touched it. The after the junk fest they did the parade.
The kids were able to decorate their bikes and ride them in the parade down the street in front of La Petite. It was cute! Kamden had a few technical difficulties. He would pedal a little ways then his pedals would fall off. It was hilarious, but aggravated Kamden.
Then since most kids leave after party day (not Kamden, unfortunately his mom has to close down the school, poor guy) they got to watch a movie and then jump in the bounce house. After I got finished working we went to a birthday party for one of his little girlfriends. They played in the water and had a blast! Saturday we started the morning with Joplin's Fourth of July parade. It was a nice little parade. We went with Kamden's friend Addison. They collected tons of candy and Kamden got a little tv time as well. They came by and filmed him watching the parade, waving his flag and saying"Happy Forf of July."
We had a little time after the parade before Aaron had to be at work, so we did a little shopping, a quick shooting of the pirates at the mall arcade, and Mazzios for lunch. Then Kamden and I had a baby shower to go to,but it was at the House of Bounce, so Kamden had a blast. That night was Joplin's big firework show which lasted 30+ mins. Kamden enjoyed that with Addison and Tyler, but he wasn't a fan of the ones that looked like they were raining down on us.
Sunday, the 4th was a little more laid back. We slept in late, then we went to Carousel Park with his friends T'Kayah and M'Kyrain. They had fun running from one ride to the next.
Then that night we went to Kamden's "brest" friend, Joe's house for a little playing, dinner, and of course fireworks!!! The boys had a blast we definitely had an excitement filed weekend. Kamden and I were off Monday and got a little R&R, but he was begging to go do more fireworks. He LOVES the smoke balls and parachutes.
Happy Independence Day everyone!!!

Wow! You guys did a ton! Sounds like it was fun though :) I love how you type the way Kamden prounces some of his words...it's so cute!
