We did our traditional quick trip to OKC for GGma's birthday & the big "Copelin/Christensen" Christmas. Christmas Eve was at the Governers Mansion this year in OKC & it was nice getting to see everyone. Even grandpa suprised us all & came up. Kamden was so glad to see him & really wanted him to come home with us, but he wasn't able to this year. It was a fun evening filled with delicious food & family & concluded with Kamden getting to open his 2 Christmas Eve gifts before we left. He got Star Wars footie pajamas & a Captian America shaving kit. He was very excited. Then we took off for our long trip back to Joplin. We like to be able to wake up at home on Christmas morning.
Great Christmas Eve!! It is actually Grandmother Imboden-Dozier's Christmas Eve Gathering. It is the three daughters of Grandma Dozier, Copelin, Christensen, and Grimsley.. Cousin Wade Christensen marrying the Gov. of Oklahoma makes for an extra special Christmas Eve gathering place. However, Cynthia's house is still the best.
