Each year our mall does a trick or treating event. They have a costume contest, games, bounce houses, and of course trick or treating at the stores. We've been each year but no year has been as crazy as this year. I assume it is because usually it is actually competing with door to door trick or treating and other festivals & this year it was on Friday, so everyone hit it up Fri. and went door to door or to church festivals Sat. & Sun. We did too but not for long. We put Kamden in the costume contest, but he lost to a dumb store bought chicken. He had to be with 1-3 yr. olds though and he is almost 4 and in such a young group they would be looking for more cutesie type costumes. Oh well! We know he was the coolest! Then we stood in the long lines and trick or treated at about 4 stores, played 2 games, and jumped in 2 bounce houses and then ran away as fast as we could. He enjoyed it though so all was well.
