We ALWAYS cut down our own Christmas tree. I have many fond & not so fond memories of doing this as a kid & want to be able to pass that tradition on to my kids. This year the trees were a little scarce around Joplin since we had such a hot, dry summer, but we managed to find us some winners. We got a big one for the living room & Kamden got to pick a small one for his room. Kamden loves to help chop the trees (with his plastic saw).
